Dhankaur Devi Convent School Shines at Delhi State Kickboxing Championship 2024

Dhankaur Devi Convent School proudly participated in the prestigious Delhi State Kickboxing Championship, held on the 24th and 25th of August 2024 at the iconic Chhatrasal Stadium. This event, organized by the Delhi Kickboxing Association and recognized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) and Delhi Olympic Games, witnessed fierce competition from schools across the state.

A Medal-Winning Performance

Our school’s talented kickboxers left an indelible mark on the championship, bringing home a remarkable tally of 14 medals. We are thrilled to announce that 8 of our students won Bronze medals, 5 clinched Silver, and 1 secured a coveted Gold medal. Each student showcased exceptional skill, discipline, and determination, making our school proud on such a significant platform.

The event was graced by the presence of Aman Sehrawat, Bronze Medalist at the Paris Olympics 2024, and his esteemed coach, Shri Satpal. Their presence added immense value to the championship, and our students were greatly inspired by the opportunity to receive their medals from such accomplished figures in the sports world. Their words of encouragement and motivation will undoubtedly fuel our students' aspirations for greater success in the future.
